A social media strategy goes waaaaaay beyond content. If all you are doing is defining your key messages and aesthetic, you’re only a fraction of the way there. You will not see results from this alone. 

Strategy factors in the platforms and how they are urging you to use them. So, for example, if your strategy is still posting daily to your news feeds, you are missing HUGE opportunities to reach new audiences.

A strategy is also about your target audience, and how you want them to interact with your brand. Who you’re targeting, and with what content, is another key part of your strategy.
