And to be fair, I know they’re not the only people out there who wonder what exactly goes on behind the screens! So, we thought we’d break it down into simple, bite-sized bitties.
ACCOUNT REVIEW AND Strategy
Before we start with any client, we make sure we have a strong grasp on the data and an agreed social media marketing direction. Our first step is to review your account’s past performance to identify trends and audience insights, and we explore all of the possible ways that we can #GetTonguesWagging and achieve your goals. This includes Competitions, Collaborations, Influencer Marketing, Events and more.
Additionally, we consider your story, pillars and messaging and your aesthetic including mood boards and social templates as well as any need for photoshoots and video shoots. Basically, we prepare a comprehensive guide to how we plan to create #ThumbStoppingContent.
It's a super important stage (so important that we NEVER start without it) which sets the tone for everything that follows.
ONBOARDING
When a client joins our FULL STOP fam-bam, we make it as simple as possible to hand over the reigns. Believe it or not, there’s a fair bit involved! We manage everything from the Account Setup, to Pixel installation on your website, and file sharing. Also, we get you set up on our reporting systems and content creation tools and templates. It’s a process! But it’s an important one in making sure everything that follows is as efficient as possible.
Content Planning, Writing and Sourcing
Content planning, writing and sourcing is a fundamental part of the job. We research what’s going on in our client’s industries at the start of each month, and we write every single post from scratch, every week.
Our content creation also involves sourcing relevant articles written by other credible writers and/or finding material that other people have shared that is related to our client’s story, as well as hashtag research and sourcing, and creating great visuals (photos and videos) that are in line with our client's branding.
CONTENT CREATION
We’re not here to do same-same! Setting our client’s brand apart from their competitors is #essential and one way we achieve this by creating amazing content.
Sometimes we create content through our in-house content team. Sometimes we work with Our Collective. We make this call based on our client’s brand and budget.
Some of our MUST-HAVES include: photos, videos, and more recently we reel-y like creating reels. Our aim is to keep our client’s brand at the forefront of the industry and stay on top of the trends that boast the best results.
Weekly Check-Ins
We fully integrate with our client's business. That's what makes our content timely and relevant. We call our clients weekly to get an update on what's happening in the business. What this means is that our content is 100% reflective of the day-to-day, while not needing to be in their office (you'd get sick of our jokes, trust us).
Scheduling And Posting
Once we have our client's approval on the content plan, it’s time to schedule. Sorry if what you're reading here blows your mind — what you see on Facebook isn't always as-it-happens! Generally speaking, it's planned content.
We use a range of tools like Facebook Publisher, Later, Hootsuite and Iconosquare to schedule to each channel.
Ad Management
Creating ads is one thing, but where the true value in ad management lies is in optimising ads. Once we’ve set up our client’s campaigns, we review their performance weekly to ensure that they are delivering return-on-investment, and we continuously look for ways to decrease their cost.
Often people think ad management is about the creative (visuals and the text). But, there’s far more involved in seeing those ads deliver great results, and seeing the Cost Per Conversion improve over time.
CUSTOMER SUPPORT
Community engagement, customer support, social monitoring. Whatever you call it, it’s about responding quickly and appropriately to your audiences on social media. We dedicate time daily to being active and building a relationship of trust with the audience. We care!
Reporting #LikeABoss
Some people think reporting is boring. We think of it as extremely rewarding! But perhaps that’s because we don’t do reporting like other agencies.
Our reporting goes much, much deeper than followers, reach and engagement results. We analyse Google Analytics and Shopify for e-commerce to identify trends over time. We also look at ad results and web traffic for audience insights, and we consider what your competitors are doing. All of which gives us fresh new ideas and strategies that we can bring through for future months to elevate the #Results.
